This expansion comes in response to robust orders from its current clients and imminent agreements with two renowned global brands, which are in the final stages of negotiation.

Dixon is currently in the process of constructing facilities across three of its Noida plants, with the capacity to manufacture 30 million smartphones.

Moreover, there is an expansive 860,000 square-foot factory underway in Noida, which is anticipated to be operational within the next 2.5 years. The company is also expanding its production capabilities for Xiaomi and Motorola, with a focus on meeting the demands of export markets.

Dixon, with an estimated capital expenditure of around Rs 440 crore in the ongoing fiscal year and intentions to invest approximately Rs 400 crore in the subsequent year, is firmly dedicated to its expansion efforts. Having been chosen as a beneficiary under the PLI 2.0 scheme, Dixon is targeting the commencement of notebook and laptop production for new contracts by August or September of 2024.
