Dixon Technologies is ramping up production capacity to meet rising demand in mobile and IT hardware markets. With the addition of a 1.5 lakh square foot facility, Dixon aims to support increased orders, reaching about 400,000 units for a key client, according to a company executive.
At a recent earnings call, Managing Director and Vice Chairman Atul B Lall noted that Dixon is positioned for robust revenue growth, fueled by the expanding demand environment and a broadening customer base across all segments. He highlighted that Dixon’s order book remains strong following the acquisition of Transsion’s manufacturing arm, ismartu, which includes brands like Tecno, Infinix, iTel, and Nothing. Dixon also consistently delivers 1 million units monthly for Motorola, with upcoming export orders for North America.
Lall added that Xiaomi and Oppo saw notable volume increases in Q2, with production for another global brand anticipated to begin by late November. Dixon is also enhancing its manufacturing depth by partnering with China’s HKC for display module production, expected to launch by early next fiscal year. Additionally, Dixon is exploring precision components, mechanical parts, and camera modules, with potential partnerships under review.
