Dixon Technologies and Inventec Form Joint Venture to Manufacture PCs and Servers in India

Dixon Technologies (India) Limited has announced the formation of a joint venture with Taiwan-based Inventec Corporation to manufacture personal computers, components, and servers within India. The move aims to strengthen India’s position as a hub for electronics manufacturing and aligns with the national “Make in India” initiative.

The newly formed entity, Dixon IT Devices Private Limited, will be responsible for the production of notebook and desktop computers, associated components, and servers. The announcement was made through an official regulatory filing dated April 30, 2025.

As per the joint venture agreement, Dixon Technologies will hold a 60% stake, while Inventec Corporation will retain 40% ownership. The agreement also outlines the board structure, with Dixon appointing three directors and Inventec nominating two.
