In a statement released on Friday, April 19, Dixon revealed that Padget Electronics has entered into a strategic agreement with Longcheer Mobile India to manufacture and distribute smartphones for global brands.
According to the filing submitted to the stock exchanges, Padget Electronics has commenced production and sales of smartphones for renowned global brands, leveraging Longcheer’s cutting-edge design and technology. Atul B Lall, Vice Chairman and Managing Director at Dixon Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting its potential to enhance India’s manufacturing competitiveness.
“This association will give a strong impetus to India’s manufacturing competitiveness,” stated Lall. “It gives us immense pleasure to partner with ‘Longcheer’ for undertaking manufacturing and sale of smartphones for large global brands with Longcheer’s design and technology.”
