Centric Software® has announced the success of its collaboration with DENIOS, a global specialist in workplace safety and hazardous materials management, as the company accelerates international growth and modernises product content operations using Centric PXM™. The partnership has helped DENIOS streamline product information management, improve go-to-market speed and strengthen omnichannel capabilities across its operations in 22 countries.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, DENIOS offers an extensive range of catalogue products and engineered safety solutions. The company serves customers in sectors including chemicals, logistics, pharmaceuticals, automotive and industrial manufacturing through a multilingual B2B e-commerce platform, printed catalogues and integrated procurement systems.

As customer demand and product complexity increased, DENIOS found its legacy Product Information Management (PIM) platform no longer suited to modern business needs. Originally introduced in 2006, the heavily customised system had become expensive to maintain and lacked the flexibility required for fast-moving omnichannel operations.

The company said disconnected systems, manual processes and rigid data structures slowed product content creation, complicated translations and made expansion into new markets more time-consuming. Teams often had to rebuild product data separately for each country launch.

Following an extensive evaluation process covering more than 170 business requirements, DENIOS selected Centric PXM, an AI-enabled platform that combines Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, content syndication and Digital Shelf Analytics into a single integrated solution. The implementation marked a major digital transformation initiative for DENIOS. The company redesigned its product attribute framework, integrated the new platform with SAP systems and migrated its full digital asset library into the new environment.

Supporting more than 15 languages, Centric PXM now enables DENIOS to accelerate localisation, improve data consistency and reduce the time and cost involved in entering new markets. The platform acts as a central source of product truth across e-commerce channels, online marketplaces, printed catalogues and customised enterprise storefronts.

Kai Peperkorn, Team Lead Data Excellence at DENIOS, said the previous system had become increasingly difficult to manage and was no longer capable of supporting the company’s growth ambitions. With the new platform in place, DENIOS has strengthened its ability to scale globally while maintaining accurate and enriched product content across every customer touchpoint.

Fabrice Canonge, Chief Executive Officer of Centric Software, said, “We are proud to support DENIOS in its mission to deliver safety innovation worldwide. Centric PXM helps global businesses transform the way they manage, enrich and distribute product content. We look forward to building on this successful partnership.”

Centric Software provides enterprise solutions designed to help companies take products from concept to commercialisation. Its platforms are used across industries including fashion, consumer electronics, food and beverage, home goods, cosmetics and multi-category retail.
