Delta Electronics India Pvt Ltd is celebrating its 20th anniversary in India with a significant partnership announcement. The company has collaborated with the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement entails the naming rights of the Bommasandra Metro Station on the yellow line of the RV Road to Bommasandra Line (Reach-5), a crucial part of the Bangalore Metro Rail Project.
Under this collaboration, Delta India will contribute Rs. 65 crore towards the construction of the Bommasandra Metro Station. The initial payment of Rs. 10 crore has already been made. In return, BMRCL will grant the Bommasandra Metro Station the name “Delta Electronics- Bommasandra Metro Station” for a duration of 30 years.
Expressing gratitude for the collaboration, Benjamin Lin, the president of Delta Electronics India, stated that it was an honor to contribute to Bengaluru’s sustainable development. He highlighted that working on the Bommasandra Metro Station aligns with their global mission to promote sustainable cities. Furthermore, he emphasized that the new station will not only encourage a cleaner and more effective transportation system but also improve connectivity for locals and commuters.

The Bommasandra Metro Station is a pivotal component of the 19.15 km yellow line under Phase-II of the Bangalore Metro Rail Project. This line, which connects RV Road to Bommasandra with 16 stations, is poised to offer a sustainable transportation alternative for Bangalore residents and commuters, ultimately easing traffic congestion and reducing vehicular pollution.
