Ascendion has appointed veteran technology leader Debashis Chatterjee to its Board of Directors, reinforcing its ambition to lead innovation in software engineering driven by artificial intelligence. Mr Chatterjee brings more than 30 years of experience leading digital transformation programs and scaling operations for global enterprises. Most recently, he served as CEO and Managing Director of Mindtree, where he successfully oversaw the company’s merger with LTI, creating LTIMindtree—now India’s sixth-largest IT services provider.

Before his leadership at LTIMindtree, Mr Chatterjee held senior positions at Cognizant, including President of Digital Systems & Technology and Head of Global Delivery. He played a key role in establishing Cognizant’s Banking & Financial Services vertical, now one of its largest, and expanded its delivery footprint across several Indian cities. His career began at Tata Consultancy Services, where he gained foundational experience in enterprise technology.
