DCX Systems Secures ₹460-Crore Export Order from Lockheed Martin

DCX Systems Ltd, a key manufacturer of cables and wire harness assemblies, announced on November 8 that it has received a significant export order worth around $54.8 million (₹460.3 crore) from Lockheed Martin Global Inc., USA. “The company has secured an export order from M/s. Lockheed Martin Global Inc, USA for $54,798,120.00 (approximately ₹460.30 crores at an exchange rate of 1 USD = INR 84),” DCX Systems reported in a filing with the stock exchange.

Under this contract, DCX Systems will provide electronic assemblies to Lockheed Martin, with the full order scheduled for completion within 12 months. In a recent update from September, DCX Systems disclosed that its subsidiary, Raneal Advanced Systems Pvt Ltd, received an industrial licence.

This approval, granted by the Industrial Licensing Section of the Office of the Development Commissioner of the Cochin Special Economic Zone, Karnataka SEZ, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, permits DCX Systems’ subsidiary to manufacture, assemble, and test microwave submodules for missile subsystems.

The licence covers the integration and production of avionics and defense electronics, as well as radar and electronic warfare systems, classified under Category A per the Ministry of Defence Security Manual due to their sensitive nature. The licensed production facility, located in Bengaluru, will operate under this authorization for a period of 15 years.
