DCX Systems Ltd. anticipates a strong influx of significant orders in the current fiscal year, according to Chairman and Managing Director HS Raghavendra Rao. The company’s current order book, valued at Rs 2,200 crore, is set to grow with the prospect of securing larger contracts soon.

Rao indicated that while specific figures were not disclosed, the company is in position to obtain considerably larger orders. “Our current order book stands at Rs 2,200 crore, which is robust. We expect a substantial order pipeline, particularly as we enter our peak season for order acquisition in Q2. We are gearing up for even bigger contracts,” Rao told NDTV Profit.

The existing order book, totaling Rs 2,200 crore, is scheduled for completion over the next two to two and a half years. Rao explained that a significant portion of this, Rs 1,250 crore, is associated with L&T and will be fulfilled within three years, while the remainder will be completed within a year and a half.

Recently, DCX Systems secured two new orders worth Rs 107 crore and Rs 187 crore, both of which are expected to be completed within 12 months. Rao expressed the company’s goal to finalize these orders by the end of the fiscal year ending March 2025. “The Rs 107 crore order includes both domestic and international components. We aim to complete this by the end of this financial year, pending supplier coordination,” Rao said.

Additionally, the company received a Rs 187.3 crore order from an international client for electronic kits, also with a 12-month deadline. “This is an entirely export-based order, and we are confident in meeting the customer’s requirements within the specified timeframe,” Rao added.

DCX Systems is also targeting a 40% increase in revenue from its cable and wire harness business, aiming for Rs 110 crore this fiscal year. Rao noted that while the cable business is highly profitable, the revenue last year was modest at Rs 50–60 crore. “We are aiming for a 40% increase in revenue from our cable and wire harness segment this year,” he said.

In the realm of printed circuit boards (PCBs), DCX Systems is collaborating with four international companies that have approved its facility. Rao expects a favorable order pipeline from these partnerships, with all necessary approvals and commercial arrangements already finalized.
