Darma Henwa has expanded its mining equipment fleet with the delivery of 10 new Liebherr machines for operations at the Bengalon and Kintap mines in Indonesia’s Kalimantan region. Liebherr Indonesia delivered four R 9200 excavators and six PR 776 dozers to the Indonesian integrated mining services provider in less than 12 months. Three of the six dozers are from Liebherr’s Generation 8 range.
The new equipment has been deployed across the Bengalon mine in East Kalimantan and the Kintap mine in South Kalimantan. The expansion follows increased operational requirements at both sites, including the addition of a new pit at Bengalon and higher production targets at Kintap.
Deliveries of the R 9200 excavators took place between the third quarter of 2025 and the second quarter of 2026. The final R 9200 unit was delivered to the Bengalon mine in April this year. With the latest additions, the total number of Liebherr machines operating at Bengalon has reached 17, while four Liebherr machines are now operating at Kintap.
Darma Henwa is using the additional equipment to support its growing mining operations and production plans. The R 9200 excavators and PR 776 dozers form part of the company’s effort to strengthen equipment availability and operational capability across both mine sites.

The latest deliveries further strengthen the relationship between Darma Henwa and Liebherr Indonesia, which supports the mining services provider across both projects.
