Danfoss India has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability with the unveiling of its next-generation iC7 System Module with Integration Unit at the 23rd CII Energy Efficiency Summit, held from September 10-12, 2024, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The event, organized by the CII-Godrej Green Business Centre under the CII Energy Efficiency Council, served as a platform for industry leaders to discuss innovations in energy-efficient technologies and promote collaboration between equipment manufacturers and technology suppliers in sectors like cement, steel, power, and more.
Ravichandran Purushothaman, President of Danfoss India and Chairman of the Energy Efficiency Summit 2024, highlighted the critical need for collaboration to meet India’s energy efficiency and decarbonization goals. He emphasized the importance of adopting advanced technologies and fostering cross-industry dialogue to drive sustainability and green infrastructure initiatives.
During the summit, Danfoss India launched the iC7 System Module, a state-of-the-art product from its industrial drives family. The iC7 module, designed for global applications across industries including marine environments and electrification, is known for its superior heat management and compact design, offering high torque performance within small spaces. Built on the iC7 platform, it integrates digital optimization for seamless adaptability to diverse operational requirements.
Speaking on the launch, Purushothaman said, “We are at a pivotal moment in our transition to a low-carbon economy. Integrating technologies like generative AI and IoT is crucial to achieving this, and the Energy Efficiency Summit serves as an ecosystem for industries to reduce carbon footprints while boosting productivity.”
