Danfoss Fire Safety has successfully deployed its cutting-edge SEM-SAFE® high-pressure water mist fire protection system in the Samruddhi Expressway Tunnel located in Maharashtra, India. This milestone project signifies a significant advancement in fire safety technology, aimed at ensuring the safety of tunnel users and protecting infrastructure during fire emergencies.
The Samruddhi Expressway Tunnel, an essential link between Mumbai and Nagpur, spans 8 kilometers with three lanes, providing a vital connection across the Western Ghats mountains. Safety in tunnels is crucial, and Danfoss Fire Safety was selected to supply the SEM-SAFE® system, renowned for its effectiveness in suppressing fires efficiently.
