Damson Technologies, a leading manufacturer of consumer electronics and home appliances, has announced plans to invest ₹200 crore in setting up a new manufacturing facility in Gujarat. The facility, which will be located at the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) estate in Sanand, will have a production capacity of 1.2 million units per annum. The plant will manufacture a range of products, including LED TVs, smartphones, and home appliances.
According to Damson Technologies’ Managing Director, Vipul Vyas, “The new facility will help us increase our production capacity and reduce our dependence on imports. We are committed to making Gujarat a major hub for electronics manufacturing in India.”
The company aims to generate ₹800 crore in revenue in FY25, up from ₹500 crore in FY24. Damson Technologies plans to achieve this growth through a combination of increased production capacity, new product launches, and expanded distribution networks.
