Cummins India Unveils Advanced Manufacturing Facility at Phaltan Megasite

Cummins India has officially inaugurated a cutting-edge manufacturing facility at its expansive Megasite in Phaltan, Maharashtra. This new plant is dedicated to producing advanced e-heaters, essential components in aftertreatment systems that aid in reducing emissions and assist Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in meeting forthcoming global emission standards

Designed and developed with Cummins’ state-of-the-art research and development capabilities, these e-heaters are tailored to enhance emission control across diverse operating conditions. They are compatible with both on-highway and off-highway engines, delivering reliable and fuel-efficient aftertreatment solutions. The facility’s inauguration was attended by members of Cummins’ global and Indian leadership teams, underscoring its strategic significance within the company’s global manufacturing network.​

By manufacturing these advanced emission control technologies domestically, Cummins India is reinforcing the nation’s position as a hub for high-tech manufacturing.
