Copeland, a global leader in climate solutions, has announced a major rebranding initiative, unifying its entire product portfolio under the Copeland name. This rebranding marks an important milestone in Copeland’s evolution as an independent entity and highlights its commitment to providing sustainable climate solutions across commercial, industrial, refrigeration, and residential markets worldwide. With over a century of innovation, Copeland is dedicated to delivering solutions that enhance lives and protect the planet for future generations.
Paul Mottershead, Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Copeland, explained, “This rebranding is a natural progression in Copeland’s journey. By consolidating our brands, we’re simplifying the experience for our customers and making it easier for them to access our comprehensive range of products.” The change aims to align Copeland’s offerings with the evolving needs of the HVACR industry, while addressing some of its most pressing challenges.
Previously, Copeland’s product portfolio was sold under various brand names. The strategic rebranding initiative consolidates the company’s offerings under a single, recognizable brand, emphasizing its core values of sustainability, reliability, and innovation. In addition to compressors, variable speed drives, and refrigeration condensing units, the rebranding will also encompass controls, enterprise management software, leak detection, cargo monitoring, and transport solutions. Key brands transitioning to the company name include:
- Dixell electronics
- Emerson and Alco flow controls, valves, and system components
- Emerson rack system facility controls and case controllers
- Emerson leak detection and cargo monitoring solutions
- ProAct services, software, and transport solutions
Several other product brands will also remain a part of the the company portfolio, maintaining their established presence while aligning with the new brand identity. These include:
- Sensi: Smart thermostats for residential and light commercial buildings
- Verdant: Energy management solutions for hospitality and multi-dwelling units
- Vilter: Industrial and commercial compression and control solutions
- White-Rodgers: Thermostats, heating controls, and gas valves
- Cooper-Atkins: Temperature and environmental measurement devices
Under this unified branding approach, all products will maintain their individual identities with updated packaging and labeling. The rebranding process is set to be completed over the next 6-12 months, with full implementation expected by mid-2025.
