Cooper Corporation, a Maharashtra-based engine and generator manufacturer, has partnered with Japan’s Sinfonia Technology to introduce new LPG gensets in India and other countries.

Sinfonia Technology specializes in clean transport, power control, and aerospace technologies. This partnership marks a major step towards sustainable energy, as Cooper Corporation launches India’s first 10 KVA LPG genset, certified by CPCB4+. The new genset will be unveiled at the Gas India Expo 2024 in Greater Noida from July 4-6.

The genset, named COOPER SINFONIA CSG-0010L-IN and branded ‘DAIMON’ in India, offers a compact size, low operational costs, and easy maintenance. It is an economical and eco-friendly alternative to diesel gensets, using LPG for cleaner energy and higher efficiency.

Sinfonia Technology, a century-old multinational company, has diverse business areas including automotive systems, aerospace, industrial robotics, and more. Cooper Corporation, also over 100 years old, specializes in diesel and gas engines and exports 50% of its products globally.

Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director of Cooper Corporation, said, “We are committed to innovation and sustainability in power generation. Our partnership with Sinfonia Technology reflects our goal to provide advanced solutions that meet customer needs.”

Masaki Tatsuda, Manager at Sinfonia Technology, added, “We aim to offer reliable, eco-friendly power solutions for a greener future through our combined expertise.”

Cooper Corporation and Sinfonia Technology are also developing hydrogen engines for both on-road and off-road use, expanding their efforts towards sustainable energy.
