Continental’s eHorizon will equip millions of vehicles from a major European car manufacturer for the Dynamic Road Events platform starting in 2025. This cloud-based solution enhances road safety by providing real-time insights into road events and hazards, complementing traditional vehicle sensor capabilities. The eHorizon platform’s innovative data aggregation anticipates hazards earlier, aiming to contribute to Continental’s Vision Zero, with a focus on zero fatalities, zero injuries, and zero crashes. The platform’s flexibility and adaptability to changes position it as a key technology for enhancing road safety and paving the way for autonomous driving.

Continental, the technology company, will equip several million vehicles from a major European automobile manufacturer with the eHorizon for Dynamic Road Events from 2025. This cloud-based solution enhances road safety by providing real-time insights into road events and potential hazards, complementing traditional sensor capabilities. It includes dynamic road event information, such as traffic congestion, accidents, and more. The eHorizon platform aims to contribute to Continental’s Vision Zero, focusing on zero fatalities, zero injuries, and zero crashes.
