Hans-Jörg Feigel assumes leadership of the key function Strategy and Future Solutions on September 1, 2021. Feigel, a mechanical engineering doctorate, has 30 years of cross-business, international management experience in the automobile sector, as well as significant knowledge of brake and chassis systems. He takes over for Ralph Lauxmann, who has assumed overall administration of a customer project.
Continental has appointed Hans-Jörg Feigel as Head of Strategy and Future Solutions in the Autonomous Mobility and Safety (AMS) business area, effective September 1, 2021. In his new post, Feigel will also be a member of AMS’s Management Board. Feigel, a mechanical engineering PhD, follows Ralph Lauxmann, who took over the general management lead for a Continental customer project on August 1, 2021. Feigel has substantial international managerial experience in the automotive sector, with a focus on brake and chassis systems. He was most recently the Managing Director Europe for a multinational automotive supplier. Prior to that, Feigel worked for Continental for about 25 years in various capacities.
