This presentation emphasised the brand’s dedication to providing consumers with a thorough and worthwhile experience, with a focus on mobility solutions.
Samir Gupta, the Managing Director of Continental Tires and Head of Central Region BA RE APAC, highlighted the expo’s significance, recognizing India as an expanding vehicle manufacturing market. The exhibition featured several products, with the Conti UltraContact NXT taking the spotlight. This tire boasts up to 65 percent renewable, recycled, and mass balance certified materials, setting a new standard for sustainability while maintaining high safety and performance levels. All 19 available sizes of the UltraContact NXT carry the highest EU tire label ratings in rolling resistance, wet braking, and exterior noise.
Continental Tires also showcased the Premium Contact 6 Sealant, introducing ContiSeal technology designed to instantly seal punctures and ensure uninterrupted mobility. This solution addresses the common challenge of punctures caused by objects like nails, automatically sealing the puncture from within.
Among the products for hybrid applications, the Hybrid CHD2+ UM and Hybrid CHS2+UM stood out. These tires are engineered to provide higher tread mileage, better endurance, and improved performance in diverse road conditions. Suited for E-commerce and Express Cargo vehicles, they align with Continental’s focus on driving a smooth and safe experience.
The CrossContact H/T, launched in India in 2023, caters to the market’s demand for a robust and durable tire suitable for both on- and off-road driving. Crafted with precision at the Modipuram plant, this tire offers high mileage, comfort, and safety, tailored for Indian roads.
Adding to the showcase, the ContiCoach CCA3 introduces tire technology with a wider tread width for increased mileage and enhanced wet braking performance, ensuring safety and stability. The tire’s high-density interlocking sipes contribute to excellent cornering stability, while the high-value casing enhances retreadibility.
Continental Tires also introduced its Conti360 Digital Solutions, featuring Intelligent Tires equipped with sensors for 24×7 monitoring. This automated offering enables remote and real-time fleet monitoring, improving visibility into tire status, enhancing road safety, and reducing maintenance costs.
The I-tyres, designed for tubeless tires, offer benefits such as increased mileage, optimized fuel consumption, and real-time alerts for punctures or air pressure loss. Integrated with GPS, ContiConnect further aids in monitoring fleet tire performance, resulting in reduced fuel spend, increased tire mileage, and enhanced vehicle safety for end consumers.
