Continental India held a virtual inauguration ceremony to commemorate the completion of its PSA oxygen generator plant installation project at the Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati (SHKM) Government Medical College.
Maruti Suzuki and its vendor partners set out to increase the capacity of PSA oxygen generating plant manufacturers during the second wave of the pandemic. The PSA oxygen generator plant makers were able to increase their capacity by almost ten times thanks to this quick intervention. Maruti Suzuki and its vendor partners planned to purchase and donate PSA oxygen generator plants to government-designated hospitals in six states over the next few months.
Continental India partnered with Maruti Suzuki to procure and install the PSA oxygen generator facility. SHKM, Mewat Hospital is Continental’s second such factory at a government hospital; the first was at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru. Maruti Suzuki has aided in the full coordination of the plant’s installation and commissioning at SHKM. Haryana Police Housing Corporation also assisted with the facility’s commissioning in tough terrain.
Prashanth Doreswamy, Country Head Continental India and Managing Director Continental Automotive India said at the inauguration, “Continental has always made conscientious efforts towards the employees and the society.” During the epidemic, we concentrated on helping India prepare for COVID-19 waves, including the establishment of PSA oxygen production plants. Mewat is a developing location, and we intend to help this area prepare for any future issues that may necessitate the use of PSA oxygen generator units.
