CM Mann to Lay Foundation Stone for BMW Parts Plant in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann pledged full support to Modern Automotives as the company plans to expand its operations in the state to manufacture parts for luxury car manufacturer BMW. Mann was informed that the company has become the first Indian firm to receive approval for the delivery of differential pinion shafts to BMW AG in Munich. The confirmed order consists of 2.5 million units valued at ₹150 crore.

Mann accepted the delegation’s invitation to lay the foundation stone for the new plant in Mandi Gobindgarh next month. He expressed pride in the fact that BMW parts will now be produced in Punjab, which he believes will enhance the state’s industrial growth and elevate its profile on the global stage.

The Chief Minister emphasized that Punjab offers a business-friendly environment, supported by a streamlined single-window system for investors. He noted that the state is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for leading companies worldwide.
