CLOOS India Welding Technology Private Limited, a subsidiary of the globally renowned Carl Cloos Schweißtechnik GmbH, is all set to inaugurate its new Experience Center in Pune on 10th April 2025, at H Block, MIDC, Pimpri, near the Auto Cluster, Pune. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in CLOOS India’s journey to deepen its engagement with the Indian manufacturing ecosystem by integrating sales, service, design, demonstration, spare management, and R&D under one roof.

This expansion enhances customer interaction, provides live demonstrations of CLOOS technologies, and delivers hands-on experience with the latest robotic and arc welding innovations.
Speaking about the significance of the new facility, Sumon Mitra, Chief Operating Officer of CLOOS India, stated, “The Experience Center will facilitate sales, live demonstration, design, service, R&D, and spare management—all under one roof—making it a complete solutions hub for our customers.” Cloos India is also organising an Open House after the inauguration on 10th and 11th April to showcase the new facility and capabilities to their customers.

The facility introduces new capabilities for Indian customers, including instant demonstrations and customized design of complete welding solutions, enhancing the decision-making process for manufacturers. “Customers can now experience live demonstrations tailored to their needs and get custom-designed welding solutions instantly,” added Mr Mitra. Moreover, the center is poised to act as a training and innovation hub, with a dedicated team focusing on manual and automated welding training, helping build the skill base in India.
“As the demand for manufacturing increases and the skilled workforce remains challenging, the need for automated welding solutions is growing significantly. CLOOS is here to meet that demand,” he emphasized. The inauguration will be attended by senior leadership from CLOOS Germany and key customers from across India, underscoring the global importance of this expansion.
