India’s flagship event for cleaning, hygiene and industrial maintenance—the 21st edition of Clean India Show, held alongside Laundrex India, the country’s dedicated exhibition for linen care—will return to the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from 26 to 28 November 2025. This edition will bring together over 180 exhibitors, including 45+ debut participants, and will showcase technologies and products from more than 600 brands.
Jointly organised by Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd (VIS Group) and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, the event will highlight advancements across a wide spectrum: robotic cleaning equipment, real-time air quality monitoring systems, facility management and automation software, eco-conscious cleaning chemicals, water-efficient hygiene solutions, surface maintenance systems, municipal cleaning technologies, waste management innovations, automotive care products and advanced linen-care, laundry and dry-cleaning solutions.
The cleaning and hygiene sector has continued to gain momentum even after the pandemic years. The Swachh Bharat Mission, launched by the Government of India in 2014, has significantly boosted sanitation infrastructure, improved community health indicators and strengthened cleanliness efforts nationwide.
Adding to this progress, Indian Railways, the country’s largest employer, has embraced technology-led hygiene practices, including drone-based cleaning of stations and coaches. According to Grand View Research, India’s cleaning and hygiene products market was valued at USD 10.10 billion in 2024 and is projected to rise to USD 16.43 billion by 2030, expanding at a CAGR of 8.8%.
The laundry services sector is also expanding rapidly. Its footprint now covers major metros and is steadily growing across tier-2 and tier-3 cities, supported by digital platforms and app-driven service models. Franchise-led laundry businesses are becoming more sustainable, tech-enabled and community-focused. With these shifts and strong government backing, the country’s cleaning and hygiene ecosystem is positioned for sustained advancement. This growth is expected to spur innovation in eco-friendly and smart solutions across cleaning, waste management and urban infrastructure—reinforcing the Make in India initiative and strengthening India’s status as a global manufacturing hub.
Jayaram Nair, Chairman, Virtual Info Systems Pvt Ltd (VIS Group), shared “We are proud to offer a platform that contributes to a cleaner, healthier world. The show continues to serve as a meeting point for government bodies, private players and emerging startups working toward a better future. Over time, we’ve seen a major shift toward new-age, clean-fuel technologies aimed at reducing carbon footprints. I am confident that both visitors and exhibitors will gain meaningful insights and value from this year’s edition.”
Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, added “This year marks a significant moment for the cleaning, hygiene and linen-care community, all of which are experiencing rapid growth. From eco-forward product features to the accelerating expansion of laundry franchises in smaller cities, the industry is evolving at an impressive pace. Government departments, too, have taken the lead in adopting smart cleaning technologies that reduce labour risks and enhance operational efficiency.”
As sustainability, ESG commitments and Net Zero goals reshape corporate real estate and facility management, the Corporate Real Estate & Facility Management (CREFM) Masterstroke Awards 2025, presented by Clean India Journal, will honour exemplary achievements by service providers and facility management professionals on the show’s opening day. In addition, a series of knowledge-driven conferences will run across all three days, offering attendees deep insights into industry trends and emerging practices.
The event is supported by the All India Institute of Local Self-Government (AIILSG) and the Dry Cleaners & Launderers Association of India (DLAI). Leading companies showcasing their innovative offerings include Buzil Rossari Private Limited, Charnock Equipments Pvt Ltd, Columbus Cleaning Machines Pvt Ltd, Diversey India Hygiene Pvt Ltd, Divyesh Abrasive and Tools, IFB Industries Ltd, IP Cleaning India Pvt Ltd, K&B Associates, Orgaearth Cleansol Pvt Ltd, Stefab India, among others.
