The 20th edition of the Clean India Show, alongside its concurrent expos—Waste Technology India Expo, LaundrexIndia Expo, and Autocare Expo—kicked off today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The event features over 170 exhibitors and 600+ brands, presenting cutting-edge innovations in cleaning, waste management, laundry, and auto care.

Attendees include industry professionals, government officials, and private sector delegates from over 60 segments. The 20th Clean India Show commenced today, emphasizing the growing significance of hygiene, waste management, and professional cleaning in both public and private sectors. With hygiene standards becoming non-negotiable and the need for innovative waste management solutions gaining prominence, the expo showcases cutting-edge products and technologies aimed at transforming these industries.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of an impressive lineup of industry leaders, including Ms Mohanna Lakshmi M, Editor of Clean India Journal; Mr Winston Pereira, Executive Director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd.; Mr Rohit Arora, Chief Growth Officer, Support Services, Compass Group; Mr Nimesh Ajmera, Director, Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd.; and Mr Sanjay Katkar, Municipal Commissioner, Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. Other esteemed dignitaries included Mr Chandresh Mehta, Director, Compass Group; Mr Manoj Parekh, Managing Director, OCS Group – India; Mr Ulhas Parlikar, Global Consultant in Waste Management & Circular Economy; Mr Ashish Jain, Founder, Indian Pollution Control Association; Mr. J.P. Declaring the show open, Mr Sanjay Katkar, Municipal Commissioner, Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation, stressed the importance of cleanliness and technology in waste management. He shared insights on the MBMC’s digital waste management system that has achieved an 85% segregation rate for solid waste, significantly reducing flooding during monsoons. Mr. Katkar expressed optimism about the expo’s role in fostering innovations to further the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Mr Jayaram Nair, Chairman, VIS Group, highlighted the expo’s focus on sustainable and smart solutions for waste management, laundry, and facility upkeep. The event features conferences on water conservation, government policies, and innovative technologies, offering a knowledge-rich experience for visitors.

Similarly, Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd., praised the Clean India Show as a platform for innovation, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration. He emphasized its alignment with government initiatives to advance the cleaning and waste management industries.

The event also served as a platform for unveiling groundbreaking innovations in the cleaning and waste management sectors. Highlights included the Cleanfix RA660 Navi XL Robotic Cleaning Machine, a state-of-the-art solution for wet and dry cleaning in large spaces such as warehouses and data centers, equipped with an automatic docking system.

Another notable launch was the Famso Facade Cleaning Drone, an Australian innovation designed to mitigate the risks of high-altitude cleaning while improving accessibility to complex architectural structures and reducing maintenance costs. Additionally, Adachi Svipegreen’s TiGreen Decentralized Wastewater Treatment System, powered by radical bubble technology, showcased its ability to enhance microbial activity for effective wastewater treatment, making it suitable for reuse or safe environmental disposal.

In addition to these innovations, the Clean India Show was accompanied by concurrent expos, offering a comprehensive view of related industries. These included the Waste Technology India Expo, focusing on advancements in waste management; the Laundrex India Expo, highlighting the latest in laundry technology and solutions; and the Autocare Expo, featuring cutting-edge developments in automobile care. Together, these events underscored a holistic approach to innovation across interconnected sectors. The event, which concludes on 23rd November 2024, reflects the industry’s shift towards smart, sustainable, and efficient practices, setting the tone for a cleaner and greener future.
