In a move reflecting its strategic growth in India, Cimatron, a global leader in integrated CAD/CAM software for mould, die, and manufacturing industries, has inaugurated its second Authorised Training Centre in Pune. The inauguration was conducted by Amol Arun Mane, Director of Sales & Marketing for South East Asia, India, ANZ, and South Africa at Cimatron. Sachin Bodhak, Technical Manager of Cimatron India & SEA, Swati Navale, and many from the industry attended the event.
Amol Mane emphasised the company’s commitment to skill development and industry-ready talent.”We are excited to announce the launch of our second Authorised Training Centre in Pune for Cimatron — an end-to-end integrated CAD-CAM solution for mould and die design and manufacturing,” said Mr Mane.

As the Indian manufacturing sector adopts Industry 4.0, the demand for skilled professionals proficient in advanced design and machining technologies has increased significantly. Training centres, such as those established by Cimatron, play a crucial role in bridging the skills gap, enabling companies to adopt sophisticated digital solutions for higher precision, efficiency, and competitiveness in global markets.
The new centre has been launched in collaboration with Kareshwar Engineering and Services, led by Swati Navale. Located at Mahaveer Arcade, Akurdi, Pune, the new facility is set to become a hub for students, professionals, and manufacturers looking to enhance their expertise in precision tooling design and production.
“This centre will focus on delivering high-quality, hands-on training in fundamentals of CNC programming, CAD for manufacturing preparation, and CAM programming using Cimatron. Let’s power the future of mould and die design & manufacturing with world-class training”, added Amol Mane.
This marks the second Cimatron training centre in Pune in just two months, reflecting the growing demand for skilled talent in India’s evolving manufacturing ecosystem. The first centre was inaugurated earlier this year, signalling Cimatron’s aggressive push to deepen its footprint in India and empower local industries with advanced digital manufacturing technologies.
Cimatron, part of the Sandvik Group, provides integrated CAD/CAM solutions used worldwide by manufacturers of moulds, dies, and discrete parts. The software enables seamless workflows across design, engineering, and manufacturing, helping users reduce lead times, improve accuracy, and drive innovation in toolmaking and production. With continued investments in localized training and partnerships, Cimatron is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping India’s next generation of manufacturing professionals.
