CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. announced the launch of two new electric low voltage induction motors on October 28. The company introduced the ‘AXELERA 3.0’ and ‘AXELERA 4.0’ models, with the latter offering a capacity of up to 7.5 kW. This launch highlights CG Power’s commitment to enhancing client operations, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting efficiency.
On October 21, the company reported its financial results for the second quarter of FY25 and the six-month period ending September 30, 2024. CG Power’s consolidated revenue from operations for the second quarter increased by over 20%, reaching ₹2,412.69 crore, compared to ₹2,001.51 crore in the same quarter last year.
The revenue also saw a sequential rise of more than 8% from ₹2,227.52 crore in the first quarter of this year. For the first half of the fiscal year, the company’s revenue from operations grew by over 17%, amounting to ₹4,640.21 crore, compared to ₹3,875.51 crore during the previous year.
However, the company’s consolidated profit after tax (PAT) fell by more than 9%, totaling ₹219.63 crore for the September quarter, down from ₹242.29 crore in the same period last year. Compared to the previous quarter, PAT decreased nearly 9% from ₹241.24 crore. In the first half of the fiscal year, net profit rose over 3% to ₹460.87 crore, compared to ₹446.13 crore during the same period last year.
