The Cast Metals Federation (CMF) will take part in Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026, being held from 3–5 February 2026 at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre. Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most important industrial exhibitions, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics brings together more than 500 exhibitors and attracts over 10,000 visitors each year.

Located within easy reach of London, the event serves as a major meeting point for manufacturers, engineers and procurement professionals from across the UK and international markets. At the exhibition, CMF will represent the UK cast metals industry, providing a gateway for manufacturers and engineers seeking dependable, high-quality casting solutions across a broad range of applications and end-use sectors.

Visitors can find CMF on stand B245, where the Federation will highlight the depth, technical capability and manufacturing expertise of UK-based casting companies. The stand will also offer an opportunity for buyers to engage directly with CMF members specialising in both ferrous and non-ferrous castings, enabling informed discussions around performance, quality and supply requirements. The event offers an important platform to highlight the strengths of the UK casting sector, including its role in supporting innovation, advancing product and process development, and strengthening domestic supply chains to support reshoring and manufacturing resilience.

Ahead of the exhibition, Lee Marshall, Chief Executive of the Cast Metals Federation, said that the UK cast metals industry continues to deliver a high level of technical expertise, adaptability and production capability. He noted that whether manufacturers are developing new products, refining processes or seeking to relocate production closer to home, UK casting suppliers are well positioned to meet these needs. He added that Southern Manufacturing & Electronics provides an ideal setting to demonstrate the quality and competitiveness of UK casting and to connect CMF members with customers looking for reliable, high-performance solutions.

CMF’s participation in the exhibition forms part of its wider efforts to promote member capabilities, support business development and ensure strong representation of the UK cast metals industry at major manufacturing and engineering events.
