CADFEM India’s collaboration with these entities was recently showcased in a four-day IISc Bengaluru workshop focusing on ANSYS Lumerical EDA Platform. This hands-on session underscored the capabilities of ANSYS simulation tools in enhancing silicon photonics design, signalling a new era of engineering excellence in India’s quest for leadership in smart manufacturing.

The IISc workshop offered participants a deep dive into the design and development process of silicon photonic circuits, guided by Professor Selvaraja and Photonics Application Engineers from CADFEM India. The program, supported by the Ansys India Academic program under Souvick Chakraborty, emphasizes CADFEM and IISc’s commitment to research and education excellence. The PRISM-A Photonic Integrated Circuit User Program aims to establish an annual calendar of events to foster ongoing learning and development in this critical field.
