Bridgestone India has released a special video on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi across its social media platforms. The film pays tribute to the artistry of renowned idol maker Rajan Patkar, whose eco-friendly clay idol graces the iconic Girgaoncha Raja celebrations. Established in 1928, Girgaoncha Raja is one of Mumbai’s oldest and most celebrated Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandals.

Bridgestone, present in India for nearly three decades, has built a strong bond with the country’s people, culture, and traditions. The initiative reflects the “Emotions” value of the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, which focuses on inspiring excitement and spreading joy through mobility. By highlighting the story of Mr Patkar’s devotion and craftsmanship, the company connects with the festive spirit shared by millions across the nation.

The video captures the sculptor’s skill and reverence in shaping Lord Ganpati idols, drawing a parallel with Bridgestone’s dedication to research, innovation, and delivering superior quality in its products. Conceptualized by Schbang, the campaign was designed to align with Bridgestone’s values and the mission articulated by its founder: “Serving Society with Superior Quality.”

Through a blend of vibrant festival scenes and visuals of Mr Patkar at work, the film underscores Bridgestone’s deep cultural integration and its commitment to Indian customers. It is a tribute from one form of mastery to another — artistry honoring artistry. Bridgestone India Pvt Ltd a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, began its journey in 1996.
