B&R has SuperTrak, an intelligent track system, which is now in a vertical-mount variant. This new version results in the optimization of the output per square meter of floor space. When only the top side of SuperTrak is used to transport products, magnetic support is not provided to the weight. However, the weight is directed to the rollers. A considerably more payload ability is feasible due to the shuttles.
Repositioning of the power electronics of SuperTrak results in easy accessibility from the front after vertical mounts for simple installation. Reinforcements of the SuperTrak segments’ connections assures maximum stability and reliability and mechanical rigidity in the vertical variant.
The SuperTrak shuttles are independently controlled and can be freely positioned to different products of varied sizes. They can generate a multipack of several products or beverages. The vertical variant results in the implementation of the solution on about half the floor space for an extremely high enhancement in output per square meter.
The SuperTrak brings about advanced manufacturing solutions so that for any batch size, the production is efficient and flexible. This vertical variant has a design suitable for harsh industrial environment and 24 X 7 operations. Reliability and safety is at a high degree. Without disassembling the track, easy replacement of individual shuttles and segments is feasible. Complete elimination of downtime for the mechanical changeover is practically possible. There is a high impact on overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
