Bounce Infinity has teamed up with Zapp to assemble and distribute Zapp’s i300 electric urban motorcycle in India. Bounce Infinity will handle the manufacturing based on Zapp’s specifications.

Swin Chatsuwan, CEO of Zapp, said, “Bounce’s expertise in manufacturing and market presence will speed up Zapp’s rollout in key urban areas. India is one of the largest two-wheeler markets, and electric vehicles are expected to reach 45% by 2030. The i300 is a great fit for India’s growing urban areas.”

Bounce Infinity will also help Zapp get the necessary approvals for selling its products in India. This process should be completed within 120 days. Both companies may also explore a distribution partnership to expand Zapp’s reach across India.

Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO of Bounce Infinity, said, “By combining our manufacturing strengths with Zapp’s innovative products, we aim to make India a global hub for two-wheeler manufacturing.” Zapp uses a capital-efficient business model with contract manufacturing, allowing for quick production scaling. The i300’s removable battery packs can be charged from any standard wall socket, eliminating the need for dedicated charging infrastructure.

Bounce Infinity has over 70 dealerships across India and is expanding its battery swap network. It recently signed a 30,000-scooter order with SUN Mobility and is finalizing agreements with major delivery companies. The partnership with Clean Electric highlights Bounce Infinity’s commitment to sustainable urban mobility.
