Bosch Power Tools has expanded its professional metalworking range in India with the launch of the GBM 38 Professional Magnetic Core Drill and the GRS 18V-330 Professional Right-Angle Impact Wrench. The new tools are designed for fabricators, maintenance professionals and automotive technicians working in demanding environments. Both products focus on combining high performance with improved accessibility and ergonomics for applications where precision and operator comfort are critical.
“At Bosch Power Tools, we innovate to solve real-world user challenges. The GBM 38 and GRS 18V-330 Professional tools embody our commitment to power, precision, and operator comfort. Whether reducing fatigue during overhead drilling or easing fastening in tight spaces, these tools boost productivity without compromising safety,” said Sanmay Dasgupta, Regional President, Bosch Power Tools India.
The GBM 38 Professional Magnetic Core Drill weighs 10.5 kg, making it nearly 40% lighter than standard drills, according to Bosch. Its reduced weight is intended to help professionals manage overhead and elevated drilling applications with less physical strain.
The drill incorporates thermal overload protection and a dedicated current fuse to support reliable operation in demanding working conditions. It is supplied with a complete accessory kit, enabling professionals to begin work directly at the job site. The second launch, the cordless GRS 18V-330 Professional Right-Angle Impact Wrench, has been developed for fastening applications where conventional tools can be difficult to position. Its compact head measures 78 mm x 56 mm, allowing access to confined areas such as engine bays, pipe flanges and structural frameworks.
Powered by a brushless motor, the GRS 18V-330 Professional delivers 330 Nm of fastening torque and 560 Nm of breakaway torque. The tool is designed to handle bolts up to M18, making it suitable for a range of automotive, maintenance and structural applications. The launches add to Bosch Power Tools’ professional solutions portfolio and reflect the company’s focus on developing equipment around the working requirements of tradespeople and industrial users.
