Bosch Building Technologies has started an India assembly line for its video systems, launching the FLEXIDOME IP Starlight 5000i cameras. This move supports Bosch India’s focus on local production and customer needs.
The Indian market for security cameras is expected to grow due to advancements in technology, government rules, and smart city projects. Investments in urban infrastructure and public safety will drive demand for Bosch’s video systems.
“The assembly line for our video systems shows our commitment to ‘Make in India’ and to providing top-quality, AI-based video solutions to our customers,” said Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India.
Peter Loeffler, Executive Vice President Global Product Business at Bosch Building Technologies, added: “Starting local production for our intelligent video cameras is a big step in our growth in India. We will keep adapting to local needs and supporting our Indian customers and partners.”
The FLEXIDOME cameras, designed for indoor and outdoor use, come with Bosch’s AIoT solutions, offering advanced analytics, AI capabilities, and data security features like Trusted Platform Model functionality and embedded firewall.
