BorgWarner is set to showcase its latest innovations at the upcoming IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover, Germany, from September 17 to 22. Visitors can find the company at Booth C65 in Hall 12, where BorgWarner will present advancements aimed at enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of commercial transportation.

Among the key highlights will be the introduction of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery packs for commercial vehicles. This development follows a recent partnership with FinDreams Batteries, positioning BorgWarner to deliver more efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions for commercial vehicle operations.

In addition to the LFP battery packs, BorgWarner will debut its new DC fast-charging station, designed to meet the high-speed charging needs of public charging networks and commercial EV fleets. With a scalable power range from 120 kW to 360 kW, this charging station is described by the company as an ideal solution for rapid charging demands.

Dr. Paul Farrell, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at BorgWarner, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “IAA Transportation is a great platform to showcase our technologies for efficient and clean commercial vehicles across electric, hybrid, and combustion systems. We look forward to engaging with our customers, media, and visitors to discuss our latest innovations in the commercial vehicle sector.”

Beyond the LFP battery packs and DC charging station, BorgWarner will display a range of advanced technologies designed to boost the efficiency and sustainability of commercial vehicles. This includes CV inverters, eMotors, high-efficiency turbochargers, thermal management solutions such as battery coolers, 800V eFans, and exhaust recirculation systems. These technologies are developed to meet the evolving needs of the transportation industry while promoting environmental sustainability.
