Despite a temporary slowdown during the election period, BMW’s demand quickly rebounded as market activity resumed.
Pawah is optimistic about the future of India’s luxury car market, which he says is expanding at a faster rate than the overall automotive industry. He expects BMW to close the year with robust double-digit growth.
As the festive season approaches, BMW has introduced its popular “BMW Joy Days” campaign, offering customers exclusive deals. This initiative, aligned with the brand’s “joy” philosophy, includes attractive financing options, extended warranties, accessories, and cash benefits, all aimed at meeting the increasing demand.
Pawah noted that it is seeing strong demand across its entire product line, from entry-level models like the X1 and 2 Series Gran Coupe to premium offerings such as the X7 and 7 Series. One of the company’s standout achievements has been in the electric vehicle (EV) segment. It has sold over 2,000 EVs in India, marking a significant milestone for a luxury automaker. Pawah highlighted that 40% of the flagship 7 Series sales now come from electric models, indicating a growing shift toward EVs among Indian customers.
