BMW Group India has unveiled its ambitious Retail.NEXT initiative, set to transform the landscape of automotive retail across the country. This innovative concept will be rolled out over the next 36 months, impacting 56 dealerships spread across 33 cities. With Retail.NEXT, BMW Group India envisions a revolutionary shift in how luxury vehicles are showcased and experienced, reflecting the brand’s dedication to excellence, technological advancement, and unparalleled customer satisfaction.

According to Vikram Pawah, President and Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group India, the Retail.NEXT dealerships are crafted to redefine customer engagement by merging physical and digital elements in a seamless, immersive experience. “The Retail.NEXT initiative represents a paradigm shift in automotive retail. It integrates ‘phygital’ innovations, where the physical and digital realms converge, creating environments that are both visually striking and technologically advanced.

This marks the initiation of a nationwide expansion as we broaden our vision of delivering a luxurious and engaging customer experience throughout India,” Pawah explained. The design of these new dealerships is centered around an open, minimalist aesthetic that encourages an intuitive flow throughout the showroom.

The layout is strategically planned to offer a fluid, engaging experience for visitors, enhanced by the incorporation of state-of-the-art digital interfaces. These high-tech features enable potential buyers to delve into the details of each vehicle, customize their options according to personal preferences, and receive bespoke recommendations based on their specific needs and interests.

One of the standout features of Retail.NEXT is the inclusion of dedicated areas for private consultations and vehicle handovers. These exclusive spaces are designed to ensure that every customer interaction is tailored, intimate, and memorable, reinforcing BMW’s commitment to personalized service.

In addition to these advancements, the new dealership model includes facilities for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) users. Customers with electric vehicles will benefit from both AC and DC fast-charging stations available on-site, providing convenience and efficiency for their charging needs.

The Retail.NEXT dealerships will feature a diverse selection of BMW M, BMW i, and BMW Motorrad models, alongside offerings from the MINI and BPS ranges. This extensive display aims to provide a comprehensive view of BMW’s full spectrum of vehicles, catering to a variety of preferences and driving needs.
