Bluebird Solar has been selected to provide 10 megawatts of high-efficiency 550Wp Mono PERC solar modules for a solar power project by South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (SECL) in Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh. With 3.8 MW of the total capacity already delivered, the project is progressing through a key engineering partner based in Jaipur.

The ground-mounted project will use 18,181 units of advanced mono facial solar modules. These panels are designed for high output and long-term performance, helping SECL reduce reliance on conventional energy sources and transition toward cleaner power alternatives.

The installation aims to support SECL’s operations while contributing clean electricity to the local grid. It is expected to reduce carbon emissions, cut fossil fuel use, and improve energy availability in the surrounding areas.

Akshay Mittal, Director at Bluebird Solar, noted the company’s pride in being part of this project, stating that their high-performance modules reflect Bluebird’s focus on innovation and quality. He emphasized the importance of clean energy in strengthening local infrastructure and meeting India’s sustainability goals.

The initiative supports the broader push for renewable energy in India, especially in states like Madhya Pradesh. The 3.8 MW already supplied marks a major milestone in bringing dependable solar power to the region.

This project also highlights the role of collaboration in the renewable energy space. Bluebird Solar’s partnership with a Jaipur-based EPC firm has been instrumental in the timely and efficient rollout of the supply.

Bluebird Solar, operating from a 1.2 GW fully automated plant in Greater Noida, is known for delivering solar solutions for utility-scale and commercial projects across India. Their presence in the SECL project signals growing momentum for local manufacturing in the clean energy sector.

By delivering modules for this project, Bluebird contributes not only to SECL’s clean energy shift but also to broader regional efforts to lower emissions and drive economic progress through sustainable power. The project at Anuppur is expected to serve as a reference point for future coal-linked companies investing in solar energy. It underlines the potential of renewable technology to support heavy industry operations in meeting sustainability mandates.

Bluebird Solar, a subsidiary of Bluebird Stabilizers, has rapidly emerged as a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector. Established with a vision to revolutionize solar energy, the company has transitioned from trading solar products to manufacturing high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) modules. Currently, Bluebird Solar ranks among the top five solar panel manufacturers in North India and is recognized for its advanced M10 bifacial half-cut solar modules, which come with an industry-leading 30-year linear performance warranty
