Blue Dart, a leading express services provider, has unveiled an integrated logistics hub in Bijwasan, Delhi, aimed at strengthening air and ground connectivity across northern India. Strategically located along the Dwarka Expressway, the hub is just 20 minutes from Indira Gandhi International Airport and offers direct access to the IGI Airport, Indian Railways, metro lines, and key national highways. The facility is also aligned with the upcoming Gati Shakti Logistics Corridor, enhancing its connectivity and utility.
Spanning 2.5 lakh square feet, the hub is designed to support multimodal freight movement and aligns with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. Tobias Meyer, CEO of DHL Group, highlighted the importance of sustainability in logistics, stating, “This facility showcases our commitment to efficient and sustainable logistics while supporting India’s economic growth.” Equipped with 600-kW solar power installations, the hub aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote green energy practices. It is capable of handling over 5.5 lakh shipments daily, thanks to its automated sorting systems that improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
