Birla Carbon, has announced that four more of its plants—located in Cubatão and Camaçari, Brazil; Tiszaújváros, Hungary; and Alexandria, Egypt—have secured the ISCC PLUS certification.

Earlier this year, Birla Carbon reached a significant milestone by obtaining the ISCC PLUS certification for its facilities in the USA, South Korea, India, and Italy. The certification process for the remaining plants is underway and is expected to be completed by the end of CY 2024. These internationally recognized certifications serve as a testament to Birla Carbon’s commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
