StarBigBloc Building Material Ltd, a subsidiary of BigBloc Construction, has acquired land in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for a new manufacturing facility. The upcoming plant will produce Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks, reinforcing the company’s presence in Madhya Pradesh and surrounding regions. AAC blocks, made from cement, sand, fly ash, and water, are known for their lightweight and energy-efficient properties.
The company secured the Indore land parcel for ₹6 crore. Currently, StarBigBloc operates a manufacturing facility in Kheda, near Ahmedabad, with an annual capacity of 2,50,000 cubic meters, supplying Gujarat, Rajasthan, and parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Commenting on the expansion, BigBloc Construction Chairman Narayan Saboo stated, “This move aligns with our strategic vision to expand geographically, invest in research and development, and diversify our product portfolio.”
In addition to AAC blocks, BigBloc Construction has recently entered the construction chemicals market, introducing products such as Block Jointing Mortar, Ready-Mix Plaster, and Tile Adhesives to cater to growing industry demand.
