Bharath Sesha Appointed Philips MD for Indian Subcontinent

Philips has announced the appointment of Bharath Sesha as Managing Director for the Indian subcontinent, effective September 1, 2024. Sesha takes over from Daniel Mazon, who has transitioned to a global role at Philips’ headquarters in the Netherlands following his tenure as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director until April 1, 2024.

With over 20 years of international experience, particularly in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, Sesha brings extensive expertise in strategic leadership, business development, and operational management.

Previously, he served as Managing Director at Heubach Colorants India. In his new role, Bharath Sesha will lead Philips’ growth strategy in India, focusing on improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. He will oversee the company’s healthcare operations based in Gurgaon and manage Philips’ various facilities in India, including the Philips Innovation Campus in Bengaluru, the Healthcare Innovation Centre in Pune, and Global Business Services in Chennai.
