Media Fusion and Crain Communications have announced the launch of the Bharat Recycling Show 2025, India’s largest trade exhibition and conference dedicated to the recycling sector. The event will take place from November 13 to 15, 2025, at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai. It will serve as a major platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to showcase the latest breakthroughs in recycling technologies and sustainable waste management solutions.

This year, the Bharat Recycling Show 2025 will be co-located with the second edition of the Plastics Recycling Show India, creating a synergistic environment for cross-industry collaboration. Together, the two events will offer a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the latest recycling solutions and encourage deeper engagement between different sectors, advancing the transition to a more sustainable circular economy.

Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, commented: “India’s waste management market is expected to reach USD 18.4 billion by 2030, fueled by rising waste generation and a growing emphasis on the circular economy. Yet, only 30% of recyclable waste is processed at present, leaving significant room for improvement. The Bharat Recycling Show 2025 will be a game-changing event, uniting diverse industries, policymakers, and thought leaders to drive innovation, policy dialogue, and sustainable waste management solutions across India.”

The Bharat Recycling Show 2025 will showcase a comprehensive range of recycling technologies and practices, covering multiple commodity sectors. The event will feature a diverse array of recycling solutions for metals, electronic waste, batteries, end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), tyres, paper, construction and demolition (C&D) waste, wood, and textiles. Each sector will have a dedicated focus, with an emphasis on advancements that are shaping the future of waste management and sustainable practices in India.

In the metals sector, the exhibition will highlight both ferrous and non-ferrous materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, and valuable metals like gold and silver. The event will also cover the growing field of electronic waste (e-waste), with an emphasis on the latest innovations and technologies aimed at improving electronic waste recycling. The batteries segment will focus on sustainable disposal methods and innovative approaches for repurposing batteries, addressing a critical area in the recycling process.

The show will also shine a spotlight on the end-of-life vehicle (ELV) sector, showcasing efficient dismantling and recycling processes for vehicle components, reducing the environmental impact of automotive waste. The tyre recycling segment will introduce new technologies designed to minimize the ecological footprint of tyre waste. In the paper recycling area, advancements will be presented, focusing on sustainable ways to manage paper waste. Additionally, the event will tackle the challenges of construction and demolition (C&D) waste, providing solutions for repurposing materials from demolished structures.

Innovations in wood and textiles recycling will also be explored, addressing critical issues related to fabric waste management and the recycling of wood materials. The event will be supported by leading industry associations such as the India Lead Zinc Development Association (ILZDA) and MTLEXS, further establishing its importance as a key platform for the recycling industry. Well-known companies like LAMACART, Forest Resources, and Power Hydrotech will showcase state-of-the-art recycling technologies tailored for the Indian market.

In addition to the expansive exhibition, the Bharat Recycling Show 2025 will host a high-level conference focused on key themes within the sustainability and recycling sectors. Topics will include circular economy principles, innovations in sustainable packaging, and the regulatory challenges and opportunities faced by the industry.

The conference will also explore emerging recycling technologies and discuss industry trends, aiming to bridge knowledge gaps and promote collaboration among stakeholders to drive the adoption of sustainable waste management solutions. The conference aims to bridge knowledge gaps, foster collaboration, and fast-track the adoption of sustainable recycling solutions, helping India progress toward an eco-friendly and efficient waste management system.
