Bharat Gite, the Managing Director & CEO of Taural India and President (Alumni Association) of the College of Engineering Pune COEP, has found it a fitting moment to introspect on the experiences, growth, and lessons that have defined this year, as the world approaches the culmination of 2023. Bharat Gite has recently been awarded for his contributions towards the community at the ONE India Award Ceremony among other accolades that he had received.

According to Bharat Gite, this journey often said to be as significant as the destination, is marked by memories and insights that endure. On a global and national scale, pivotal lessons have come to the fore. The importance of sustainable and socially responsible business practices, propelled by collaborations among multiple stakeholders, has emerged as the backbone for long-term success and tackling global challenges. Concurrently, India’s resilience, strategic foresight, an unprecedented influx of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and a robust workforce have positioned the nation as an innovative force adept at navigating global crises throughout the past decade.

In the immediate sphere at Taural India, the journey has been equally exhilarating. While the company has firmly established itself in the intricate casting industry, the gaze is set on expanding the capacities of the organization in the upcoming year. The unwavering commitment of the Taural India team to excellence was acknowledged with the company being recognized as one of the top 50 innovative companies at the CII Industrial Innovation Awards 2023.

The addition of numerous new customers from India and around the globe signifies the expanding reach and impact of the company. Each new partnership brings the company closer to realising its vision of a more connected and innovative world. Sharing a personal note about the O.N.E India Award Ceremony, Bharat Gite reflects, “I am humbled to share a visual from the recent O.N.E India Award Ceremony, where I was recognised for my contributions to the community. Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya Ji, Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, and Shri Sunil Deodhar Ji, Founder of My Home India, presented the award.

Throughout the year, observes Mr Gite, there were several notable highlights that stood out in his journey. Active participation in the annual World Economic Forum meetings at Davos provided a unique opportunity for him to engage with global thought leaders and contribute to impactful discussions on a diverse range of issues. The honor of being re-elected to the COEP Alumni Association for a second term turns out to be a symbol of Mr Gite’s enduring commitment to his alma mater.

Additionally, the privilege and responsibility of serving as a member of the Board of Governance for COEP University, nominated by the Governor of Maharashtra, underscored his dedication to contributing to the institution’s academic leadership. Speaking at the Y20 National Conclave as part of the G20 forum was a profound experience for him, offering a significant platform to inspire and empower the nation’s youth. These moments he was collectively defined as a year filled with meaningful engagements and contributions for Mr Gite and Taural India.
