Bharat Forge Limited has unveiled plans to inject €39 million (approximately ₹345 crore) into its fully owned German subsidiary, Bharat Forge Global Holding GmbH (BFGH). This decision, approved by the company’s Investment Committee on December 24, aims to support the subsidiary and its European branches in clearing outstanding borrowings and reinforcing their financial stability.

Founded in 2003, BFGH operates as Bharat Forge’s holding entity for investments across Germany, Sweden, and France. The subsidiary recorded a turnover of €5.11 million (around ₹45 crore) for the fiscal year ending December 2023.

This funding is in line with Bharat Forge’s earlier goals outlined in its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) document, designed to strengthen its global operations. In addition to its European projects, the company is actively involved in industries such as automotive, energy, construction, aerospace, and defense.

The capital infusion reflects Bharat Forge’s continued commitment to bolstering its international businesses and staying competitive in key global markets. The transaction is expected to be finalized by December 31, 2024.
