Bharat Forge Limited has secured its largest domestic contract to date, supplying 184 indigenously developed Advanced Towed Artillery Gun Systems (ATAGS) to the Ministry of Defence. This order represents 60% of the ₹6900 Cr. procurement by the Ministry. The ATAGS, a state-of-the-art 155/52 mm calibre artillery system, was developed in collaboration with DRDO.

On this milestone, Baba Kalyani, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Forge Limited, expressed pride in the achievement, calling it a significant step towards the realization of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for an Atmanirbhar Bharat in defense. He also extended gratitude to the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Army, DRDO, ARDE, and the Bharat Forge team for their steadfast support and collaboration in bringing this project to fruition.
