Bharat Forge Limited has secured its largest domestic contract to date, supplying 184 indigenously developed Advanced Towed Artillery Gun Systems (ATAGS) to the Ministry of Defence. This order represents 60% of the ₹6900 Cr. procurement by the Ministry. The ATAGS, a state-of-the-art 155/52 mm calibre artillery system, was developed in collaboration with DRDO.
On this milestone, Baba Kalyani, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Forge Limited, expressed pride in the achievement, calling it a significant step towards the realization of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for an Atmanirbhar Bharat in defense.
