Following its announcement on October 17, 2024, and with the approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on April 22, 2025, Bharat Forge Limited (BFL) has successfully acquired AAM India Manufacturing Private Limited (AAM India). The transaction was valued at Rs 7,464.6 million, which includes Rs 1,894.8 million in cash held by the acquired entity, available for future growth initiatives. The final equity value may be adjusted based on Net Working Capital as of June 30, 2025.
This acquisition strengthens Bharat Forge’s position in the automotive sector, particularly in supplying products to both traditional and emerging mobility technology OEMs. It broadens the company’s portfolio of solutions for Indian and global OEMs.
