Bhageria Industries Limited, a prominent player in the specialty chemicals sector, has officially started commercial manufacturing of its new line of Plasticizers and Ethoxylates. This development was disclosed today through a regulatory filing in accordance with SEBI Regulation 30.
Production was greenlit following the receipt of operational clearance from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) on October 7, 2025. These newly introduced plasticizers are designed to improve the flexibility and longevity of polymer-based materials, particularly in PVC, making them suitable for use in electrical cables, flooring solutions, footwear, and automotive components. With this launch, the company is positioning itself to meet rising demand in both domestic and international polymer-related industries.
In addition, Bhageria Industries previously announced its intention to expand production capacity for H-Acid at its Tarapur facility—from the current 400 metric tonnes per month (MT/M) to 500 MT/M. The 100 MT/M increase is expected to be completed within six months at a projected cost of ₹5 crore, funded through internal resources. At present, the facility operates at around 95% of its capacity. The planned enhancement is anticipated to generate an additional ₹50–55 crore in annual revenues, driven by growing needs in the dyes and pigments market.
Commenting on the developments, Chairman Suresh Bhageria stated “Our foray into Plasticizers and Ethoxylates, along with the planned scale-up in H-Acid capacity, reflects our strategy to broaden product offerings and pursue new growth opportunities. These steps are aligned with our long-term vision to maintain leadership in the specialty chemicals space and to deliver consistent value to our stakeholders.”
The introduction of this new product line and the upcoming capacity increase mark key milestones in Bhageria’s broader roadmap for business expansion, operational enhancement, and product portfolio growth.
