The launch was led by Bhupender Bhalla, former Secretary of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, highlighting the country’s ongoing commitment to clean energy advancements.
BGR Tech’s state-of-the-art system delivers 99.999% pure, fuel-cell-grade hydrogen and is capable of high-pressure operations up to 30 bar. Its modular and scalable design offers flexible solutions for a range of applications, including fuel cells, combustion engines, and industrial processes such as steel annealing. Designed for plug-and-play functionality, the system allows quick installation and commissioning without the need for extensive on-site fabrication.
Speaking at the event, Bhupender Bhalla emphasized the significance of hydrogen technology in India’s energy transition: “India’s green hydrogen sector is poised for exponential growth over the next five years. To stay competitive, companies must develop strong core capabilities. I encourage BGR Tech, under the leadership of Managing Director Ms. Priya, to expand its portfolio beyond hydrogen and explore other emerging gas-based technologies like biogas, methanol, and green ammonia. This strategic direction will solidify BGR Tech’s role in India’s clean energy future.”
