BenQ, a global leader in visual display technology, has expanded its home entertainment portfolio in India with the launch of the TK705i and TK705STi projectors. Engineered to deliver cinematic picture quality with everyday convenience, the new models offer true 4K UHD resolution, 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness and a powerful 16W treVolo speaker system, transforming living rooms and multi-purpose spaces into immersive entertainment zones without complicated installation or accessories.
According to Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India & South Asia, Indian families increasingly want large-screen entertainment that is simple, smart and versatile. He stated that the new projectors have been designed to fit seamlessly into real homes where work, leisure and family time converge, offering effortless setup, built-in Google TV and high-precision visual performance tailored to any room size. The TK705i features a motorised optical zoom for flexible placement in larger rooms, while the TK705STi’s short-throw capability delivers a 100-inch display from just 1.8 metres, making it ideal for compact urban apartments.
The projectors integrate Google TV with official Netflix support, enabling users to stream content instantly without additional hardware. A wide selection of more than 10,000 apps, voice-enabled control through Google Assistant and remote access via the BenQ SmartRemote app enhance convenience and usability. Entertainment performance is further elevated by BenQ’s HDR-PRO and CinematicColor technologies, which provide 98 percent Rec.709 colour accuracy, rich contrast and fine detail reproduction across movies, web series, live sports and more.
Designed with gamers in mind, the TK705i and TK705STi deliver ultra-low input lag of 5ms at 4K/60Hz and include specialised HDR-FPS and HDR-RPG modes to optimise real-time action across genres. Auto Low Latency Mode and HDMI 2.1 with eARC ensure smooth and responsive performance on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Dual 8W chamber speakers enhanced with Dolby Audio and Bluetooth 5.2 provide deep, room-filling sound that brings both movies and gaming to life without requiring external speakers.
The BenQ TK705i and TK705STi projectors will be available through authorised retail and online partners across India starting December. The TK705i carries an MRP of ₹1,99,990 and the TK705STi is priced at ₹2,25,000.
