BenQ Group, in collaboration with over 20 affiliated companies, officially announced today its ambitious plans for COMPUTEX 2024. Embracing the challenge of ISO 20121, BenQ Group is committed to creating a sustainable, low-carbon, and zero-waste exhibition. This innovative effort promises to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across all exhibition areas, presenting the groundbreaking 2.0 Green Expo.

Commitment to Sustainability:

BenQ Group is determined to uphold the principles of ISO 20121, a sustainable event management standard first implemented during the London Olympics in 2012. This year, the Group aims to achieve significant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) milestones, ensuring that the large-scale exhibition not only boosts business but also sets a precedent for eco-friendly practices.

Green Travel Guide and 1.5°C-Aligned Menu:

The exhibition venue will be constructed with simple, sustainable green building materials, ensuring zero waste from upholstery post-event. The venue will also be highly digitalized, with 90% of publicity conducted digitally, eliminating paper waste. Attendees will enjoy reusable tableware, and the Group will take extra steps to minimize the event’s environmental impact. The Green Travel Guide and the innovative “1.5°C-Aligned Menu” will further reinforce carbon reduction efforts, providing staff and attendees with eco-friendly travel options and nutritious vegetarian meals, aligning with global sustainability goals.

Exhibition Highlights:

At COMPUTEX 2024, BenQ Group has meticulously planned five major exhibition focuses, each showcasing a vision of smart living and sustainability. The AI Restaurant will highlight a blend of local cuisine brands integrated with intelligent features such as frontend kiosk meal ordering, rail food delivery, and backend order management systems. The Immersive Gaming Experience will feature gaming projectors, large entertainment LCDs, MOBIUZ screens, and mobile docks, creating an environment that seamlessly transitions between work and entertainment. “Teach Your Way” will demonstrate smart classroom solutions, incorporating interactive displays and ideaCam, leveraging AI technology to foster an interactive, efficient, and sustainable learning environment.

The AI NOW Seminars will offer over 20 sessions conducted by BenQ Group’s companies, sharing innovative applications and real-world examples to enhance cross-industry knowledge. Finally, the ESG Sustainable Design focus will incorporate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into each exhibition area, emphasizing energy efficiency and environmental sustainability through the use of green materials and energy-saving devices.
